Beginnings
Logical Developments beginnings started in 1990 originally as an IT consulting firm for Local Governments, Country Clubs and Small to Medium Business. Our initial focus was to ensure our Clients were able to locate, evaluate, select and implement business specific software. However, even then, Clients were concerned about how their IT solutions would communicate, share the same infrastructure, and integrate with the office productivity software of the day. As a result, Logical Developments often provided Project Management services to oversee and integrate the various IT Vendors and their products involved in the Client’s final solution.
In every project, there were always tasks that no Vendor wanted to do – usually the critical “glue” between the products, the data and the business processes. Logical Developments became expert in solving these challenges, and in 1996 expanded as Logical Developments Associates Incorporated, providing full outsourced IT Support, Long Range Information Management Strategies, IT Management Software Products, as well as our IT Consulting Services.
We have worked closely with Microsoft products since our inception, and have several Microsoft Competencies, Microsoft Certified technicians, and are a Microsoft Certified Partner (Silver), the second highest partnership level available with Microsoft. As well, we are founding members of the Microsoft Software Advisor Council, a continent-wide group, which had monthly conference meetings and bi-annually meetings at the Microsoft
campus in Redmond, attended by some of the most influential people at Microsoft.
